|
Amy Harriman Born in Haverhill, MA and raised in the small town of Plaistow, NH, Amy remains a loyal New England sports fan. Although she was rewarded for her years of dedication by the Celtics several times in the 80s as well as ’08, the Patriots in ’01, ’03 & ’04, and finally by the Red Sox in ’04 & ’07, she is still waiting patiently to see Lord Stanley’s cup hoisted over the heads of the Boston Bruins. While sports remain a large part of Amy’s life, music has also played a huge role. Amy got the chance to combine her two great loves on April 8, 2008 when she sang the National Anthem at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball game. Amy graduated from Timberlane High School in 1993 with aspirations of becoming an Athletic Director and an illustrious career in coaching. The closest she came was a volunteer PE assistant position, |

seven seasons, including two championships, as a middle school basketball coach, and her first (and only, so far) paid coaching gig for a Catholic High School JV field hockey team. But everything worked out fine, just in a different direction!
Amy is divorced and now resides in Myrtle Beach where she enjoys toting around in her beloved Jeep Wrangler. Occasionally, she can be found jet-setting around the country for concerts and sporting events, playing basketball, working out at the gym, singing in the choir, and oh yeah, promoting her, now wildly popular store, Retro Active, and maintaining its web site, shopretroactive.com!
